See #66 (Latin ed.) Schedel - the woodcut illust. the 7th day of creation. THe central
earth is surrounded by the water, oil + fire. These 4 elements
are followed by the circle of the then recognized 7 planets
the moon, Mercury, Venus, the sun, Mars, Jupiter +
Saturn. Next comes the firmament of fixed stars, with the signs
of the Zodiac. The Nuremberg diagram also includes the
medieval additions of the invisible crystalline sphere +
the outermost 'primum mobile' which was thought to control
the movement of the univers. Finally the Lord + his angels
dwell in the highest heaven or Empyrium Personification
of the 4 winds - in the corners.
