PCC Probate Index 1701-1749

This is an index to PCC Wills and Administrations held by The National Archives. It is only available in the Reading Room at Kew. The Wills are widely available online, but the Administrations are only browsable using microfilm or FamilySearach.org We will extract the PROB 6 when transcribed and produce a separate digital index, and then upload to our catalogue. The PROB 11 data will be used for checking purposes in corrections or amendments queries in Discovery, our online catalogue.
