#1408-L. 148

M.M. Merrill, Esq.,
Townsend St., Boston.

Dear Sir:-

Your note in regard to the condition of lot #1408 is
received. The income of one hundred dollars ($100.00) which was
the amount paid towards the perpetual care of the lot is not suf-
ficient to keep the lot in order.

To make the repairs to myrtle you request will cost twelve
dollars ($12.00), to clean the small stone one dollar and fifty
cents ($1.50) and to clean the monument three dollars ($3.00), but
there appears to be an unpaid charge of three dollars ($3.00) a
against you for flowers furnished several years ago, and by the
rules of the Corporation, no work can be done for proprietors
while bills for work done in previous years remain unpaid.

Respectfully yours,

-L.

Mrs. Wm. Gell

Dear Madam:-

There is no arrangment at present by which single graves
can be cared for perpetually.

Respectfully yours,
