Dear Sir

Your of the 11th
recd with account.

You do not state how you
propose to ship the beeches & other
trees. Would it not be well to drop
me a postal that I may be on the
look out without waiting for the
notice from the railroad.

In regard to the Viburnums they
hadn't a sign of life when they
reached here & they have not shape
as of yet. I belive the trouble was
improper packing as the roots were
not covereds with moss or anything
else, but the plants were just there
in a bundle into the box, apparently
after the other things were ready.

The amount is not large but
I don't think you should charge
me anything for them.

Yrs truly
J.W. Lovering
