1855-06-18 Trustee Committee Report on Nominating Officers, by Jacob Bigelow, 2021.004.040

The Committee to whom was referred the subject of nominating resident officers at Mount Auburn, and of deferring their duty^{preparing a code of regulations} for the government of the same. -

Report ^{in part,} - That they recommend the appointment of Mr Jon^Mann as superintendent pro tem ^{from July 1}until further actionof the Trustees; - he to receive compensation for his services at the rate of $800. per annum, beginning at the first day of September^July next. And he is to perform all the duties hithertoper required of the Superintendent, with power to call on other ^residentofficers for assistance when necessary

They further recommend that Mr B. F. Wyeth be retained until further action of this board in the office of gate keeper and ^{superintendent's} clerk, with the same salary as at present
