From Mar. 1942 to Dec. 1942 was on duty with International Division, Army Service Forces, as Chief of Planning Branch, and member of Munitions Assignment Committee (Ground) Secretarial. Army Forces in the Middle East, Cairo, Egypt, and was Senior American Officer in charge of Administration and Security at the Cairo Conference. From July 1944 to Dec. 1944 was Executive Officer, Allied Military Headquarters (Balkan). From Jan 1945 until relieved from active duty was Special Advisor on Policy to the Director, Readjustment Division, Army Service Forces.
