At a called meeting of the Vestry of St. John's Church 680
held at the office of Mr. E. A. Saunders on Monday
October 11, 1886.
Present
Rev: Lewis W. Burton Presiding

D. L. C. Crump, R. L. Brown, T. S. Macon, G. G. Minor
C. Boissieux, Mr F. Mayer and George K. Taylor
The meeting was opened with prayer.
George K. Taylor this day qualified as vestryman.
A letter from Mr. Henry F. W. Southern tendering
his resignation as a vestryman and as Register
of the Church, was received, Richmond Va 9th October 1886, and is as follows.
Rev Lewis W. Burton Rector and members of the
Vestry of St. John's Church.
Dear Sir,
I herewith respectfully tender my resignation
as a member of the vestry and a Register of the
Church.
