The treasurer reported that there were Liabilities
outstanding of $123 79 with Assets of $57 61 leaving
a defiiciency of $72 80. He estimated that for the
next six months we would be still deficient unless
the Pew Rents + Collections increased
Resolved that the Treasurer inform the Leader of
the Choir that the finances will not justify the
employment of a paid Leader and also that the
Organist be informed that her salary will be
reduced to $150 per annum

A called meeting of the Vestry was held at the retory
December 11th 1877 Present Rev A W Weddell, Messrs
I W Shields, W I Yarbrough, D A McMinn, C Bossieux,
Geo Bell, J M Estes, W G Stokes, H W Southern
The object of the meeting was started to be to consider
the Insurance on the Rectory + Church.
On motion it was resolved to insure for Five years
in the Merchants + Mechanics Insurance Company
as follows
Rectory. Main buliding $2300 Furniture $200
Wing $500 + Stable $200
