Ann Cocke the Daughter of Bowler Cocke
& Sarah his Wife was born at Bowlers [Ferrie?]
on Rappahannock River the eighteenth day of
June MDCCXX. Susanna Cocke Daughter to the
said Bowler & Sarah was born at Bremo the sixth day
of November MDCCXII and died the Octo'r following
Tabitha Cocke was born the twenty fifth day of
Sep.r MDCCXXIV. Bowler Cocke was born the
eleventh day of March MDCCCXXVI. Sarah Cocke
was born the Sixth day of February MDCCXX
Eliz:a Cocke was born the fifteenth day of May
MDCCXXI. Richard Cocke was born the Seven
day of March MDCCXXXIII & lived but twenty
five days. Charles Cocke was born the ninth
day of September MDCCXXXV and died the [page damaged]
Day of Aug:t MDCCXXIX

This old vestry book was accidentally
discovered by my self August 18th 1868 among
the old Records in the Clerks office of
Henrico Co. Va. during the next day Aug 19th
the Rev Wm Norwood (Rector of St Johns Church
Richmond) and my self applied to the
Magistrates Court (then sitting) of the County
for this book, which they turned over
as the property of St Johns Church
at 1200 m
