To Clean silver
Wash thoroughly - then rub with a
woolen cloth wet with ammonia &
whiting & polish in the [chosed?] &
filigree parts with a tooth brush
It is nice to clean windows or glass
ware -

To color light blue use
bluing - set the color with salt in
water - Pink by using rose
aniline set color with alum in water

Cut the top an inch thick from a carrot put
it in a deep plate of water - it will throw out pretty
foliage
