Cherry Pie 3/4 cup Sugar 1 1/2 tablespoon cornstarch 1/4 teasp salt 3 cups canned cherries drained 1/3 cup chery Juice 1/4 teasp almond extract 1 tablespoon butter

Put Sugar, cornstarch, salt, cherries, add cherrie juice cook until thickener about 10 min cool add almond extract

Combination cake 5 egg yolks 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup milk 1 1/3 cup flour 1 teasp hot water 1 teasp cream tartar 1/2 teasp soda 1 teasp vanilla pinch salt Beat yolks till light addsugar & milk add soda in water. Sift flour, cream tartar salt. Beat well

Part 2 angle cake 5 egg whites 7/8 teasp cream tartar Pinch salt 1/2 cup flour 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 teasp vanilla Beat till foamy add cream tartar sugar then flour Bake 25 min
