OCTOBER 28

1931. Went to school today and went to prayer meeting tonight. There were 24 Baptized after the meeting. I got a letter from Cosby today.

1932. I ironed this morning and worked on my quilt some this afternoon. I got a letter from Rex today.

1933. Mother and Dad came this morning and spent the day with us and will spend the night. Mr. Slaton, Mother, Dad & I went hickory nut hunting this afternoon.

1934. I got breakfast, dinner and cleaned up the house this morning. John Marion & Joe came this afternoon. Joe told us that Mildred Utley & Everette Johnson got married several days ago. Sis came home late this afternoon.

1935. Stayed at home all day and have done the regular house work nothing happened unusual.

OCTOBER 29

1931. Went to school today, studied my lessons this afternoon. Con. Kolman came a little while tonight.

1932. I cleaned up the house this morning. Mother, Dad & I went to Mrs. Utley's tonight to a Halloween party.

1933. Mother, Sis and I went to church at Browder's this morning. Mother & Dad went home this afternoon. Mr. Slaton, Rex, Sis & I went to Loyd's this afternoon. Jasper is better.

1934. Kate washed for us today. I got dinner, cleaned up the house & sewed some this morning. I ironed some this afternoon. Sis ironed some after she came home from school. Modest & Ruby came a little while late this afternoon.

1935. Annie Mae washed this morning. I got dinner, churned and ironed some this afternoon.
