I wish you would write [Cpl. Stu?] a
few lines. He is a pretty nice kid.
And he is like the rest of us in
service. We like to get letters.
Would you like a box of Hershey
Bars? What do you kids want
for X-mas? It won't be long will
it. I'll take a furlough & won't
ask for a thing. Wish I could.

I had some pictures taken
down town Sat. night. Hope they
are good. I was in bed two
days last week with a cold but
am OK now. I won't have a chance
to get another coat unless some
more WACs come in without coats &
I have to order some but every
one here has one.
