Sr. Regine should please [?] that picture St. Francis, which you will find among the pictures I got at Turges. I bought a great many nice pictures. I think Sr. can make good use of them for the missions. We filled out all your orders, except the frenge [?] for flowers. One of the sisters here is very sick and is not expected to live over Sunday. I must say, the sisters are really kind to us and just feel at home with them. We are treated very good. Mother Hyacinthe and Cecilia are still in [?]. We did not see this, they stay in Pitt Street and Williamsburg. i suppose they will remain here until they got all the the good out of it. Next Sunday we shall go to the Cathedral to church. Do you not think we are trying to get all one can? Keep the goods from Benziger until I return, but do not forget to make up that while [?] vestment for the feast and if Sr. cannot get our dalmatics finished to make up the nice

[on the side and top] embroidered dalmatic. All the silk is measured well. When Sr. cuts one she should measure all before she cuts, so that she will not get short. I hope no mistake will be made. The gallon [?] is also all measured and enough all except the one purple [?] and one black. Please see to it yourself or Sr. Vicaria.

Tomorrow morning we are going to Sheldon and if possible we shall try to be in Columbia tomorrow night. We stopped in Defiance from Saturday until Tuesday. I did not enjoy myself there. The Sisters are not getting along together and I fear, if Sr. Benedict remains she will be the cause of losing the mission. She is getting just like Barbara. It is terrible [?] [?]avin and here it is alright as far as I can judge. Be{?] is sending postal cards to all our missions. I had [?] to

[along side] Regards to you. I hope St. Francis will bring him good news.
