under the doctors care [illegible] have two churches to play and no one to take either ones choir. What is impossible is impossible. I did not promise him for certain he spoke to me and I do not think that I gave him a decided answer. Tell him if I was at home I could do no better. As the Sister is sick. You write but not under my command just in Vicaria's name. But write to him immediately also to Sister Petra and state the circumstance about that candidate in Pine Bluff Send her a list and if she can comply to it, she may come. She can come with the Sisters to retreat. Write also for those Sacred Heart books and send the bill to the Sisters in St. Peters. Sister Vicaria might send Sr. Philomine a habit. I think

F. Schell is going to invite the Bishop at the last day. I I thought first before they had examination I would not like that, but now I wish he would come, she could have any Superintendent to , for I do not think they have a better school as far as what [?] she teaches. I will tell you all when I get home. How she conducts her school. This and next [?] I think I will be around here yet. I am glad all is getting along so well. My love to you all and continue to say the beads in my intention. My cough is not gone entirely it seems to hang on me and trouble me at night more. I remain your loving Servant M. Agnes

F. Custos wrote to me and said that he would bring a new ordained priest along for Trinity Sunday. Sr. Vicarice [?] shou;d make nice wreath, perhaps get the may flowers if she can't make them in Dayton, Ohio, and have a frame for it. If she can get some cheap cotton that will look well and make up white dresses for our little orphans with blue sashes and white wreathes for that day. Sr. Regina should make a nice congratulattion and let one of them learn it by heart; but no poetry. His door should also be decorated and the entrance to the stair halls. I think I will be home in time.
