This Deed Made this the 28th day of August 1931
by Mrs. J. W. Harriss
of Guilford County and State of North Carolina, party of the first part,
to J. Welch Harriss of Guilford County and
State of North Carolina, party of the second part:

Witnesseth, That the said party of the first part, in consideration of ($10.00)
Ten Dollars to her paid by
the said party of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, has have bargained and
sold, and by these presents does bargain, sell and convey unto the said party of the second part
and his heirs a tract or parcel of land in the County of Guilford and State of North Carolina, in
High Point Township, adjoining the lands of [blank]
and others, and bounded as follows:

Beginning at an iron stake, the northeast corner of Mrs. J. W.
Harriss property, which property extends from North Main Street
and the common corner between Dr. Stanton and Mrs. J. W. Harriss;
thence N 53-10 E 75.48 feet to an iron stake, A. P. Browns south-
west corner; thence S 38-07' E 26 feet to an iron stake; thence
S 53-06' W 75.74 feet to an iron stake, the southeast corner of
Mrs. J. W. Harriss property; thence with Mrs. J. W. Harriss line
N 6-25' west 26 feet to the point of beginning.

The above land was conveyed to grantor by [blank].

To have and to hold the aforesaid tract or parcel of land and all privileges and appurtenances thereunto
belonging to the said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever.

And the said party of the first part does covenant that she is are seized of said premises
in fee and has the right to convey the same in fee simple; that the same are free from
incumbrances; and that she will warrant and defend the said title to the same against the claims
of all persons whatsoever.
