Dearest Pete:

Well the news in Europe sure
sounds good to-day, so may be it won't
be long before that war will be finished
and then the Allies can concentrate on
Japan and finish them off and you
will get home again. We all will be
glad when that day comes, won't we?

Yesterday was Palm Sunday and next Sunday
is Easter. Harry has a fishing trip planned
for that week-end. He won't come back until
Monday night. He is looking forward to it, too.

Father MacMillan is back. I haven't seen
him as he wasn't at Church yesterday but
I hope he will be O.K. now. He really
has been pretty sick.
