Mrs W C Jones moved, and it was seconded, that The President appoint a committee to confer with The City Council as to the upkeep of this planting. The Committee appointed was Mrs. Sal Tomlinson, Mrs. A S Parker and Mrs W C Jones.
Mrs. A E Tate, Chairwoman of the Committee for the Preservation of Christmas Greens, reported that this Committee has been vusy and feels that they have made a lot, altho they have not yet done what they hoped for. The matter of living Christmas trees is being investigated and The Committee hop to have a full report on this at the next meeting.
The meeting was not turned over to Mrs. W A White, Chairwoman of The Program Committee. Shse announced that a special feature of this meeting would be a Coubet itiree Exhibit of Winter Boquets and to act as Judges were there members.
