Dear Mrs. Van Waters.

Just a few lines to let you know we all miss you and hope that you are in the best of health and that you will be back with us real soon. I hope you will excuse my writing as I have an infected finger and it is hard for me to write.

I have written up all the biographies except two which I hope to complete this week. I have

also written a paper on Alice Hamilton, William Dean Howells, and Mary Breckenbridge.

Miss Freeman brought me a book from the Cambridge Library about Beethoven and Back, which were very interesting.

I am starting my piano lessons again this week, I guess I won't find much time to practice as I am making costumes for the May Festival which we hope to give next Saturday in the Mulberry Grove if it doesn't rain, and the weather permits.
