Dear Friend

I received your letter and it was a very
nice letter and you said some very nice things. I also
received your check for $5.00 it sure was needed, now I
think I can pay for the lamp. I also wrote home to my
mother for some money, seeing now I am back in the population
I need many things so I believe she'll help me. I also
had help from the priest.

Well I hope your in good health and say hello to
all for me.

I am very glad you enjoyed my last letter. I realy dont
know what to say about the praise you gave me about my
letter, all I can say is it made me feel good reading your
letter. Some times I have a hard time writing letters Im
scared of saying the wrong thing, but I always try to put
all my feelings in my letters.

Im glad you said I did best by saying I was sorry to
Mr Butterworth I feel deep I owed it to him.

I am doing good out in population I have a nice sun burn
for I havent been in the sun for a long time. I watched T.V
this afternoon. I also saw my Legal Medicine man today
Mr Seckler he was hurt because of my parole action
he was very proud of how I am taking it all I can say is
what else can I do but take it, for I get into trouble
again Ill only end up with more time no sense in that
