I am about to go off for a vacation but I want to express
appreciation for your letter of August 21st. I hope that your
plans for relase will soon materialize. It is encouraging
to know that people in your home town of Lynn speak very well
of you.

Please thank the editor of the Mentor for a wonderfully
fine article. I shall write myself as soon as I can. I received
some other letter from the men which I shall also hope to answer
as I value them very much. Please be my messenger and convey all
my wishes to my friends at Charlestown.
