the inclosd according to their direction & of 5th [Instt?] to which replyd y.e 14th
have since rec.d £174 6.9 Lm.o for Acco.tt Samuel Tornsend Esq.r being the
neat proceedsof 28 [tts?] Pork & £43.6.5 like money of Col.o Jeremiah
Lee also 30 [tts?] Blubber & 6 [tts?] Liver Oil of Mr Wm Dolliver of Marble
head the two last artiles for your Acco.tt Inclosd you have Bill Landigor of
the Oil & Blubber & Sloop Newburg Isaac Belknap master for New York
now ready for sailing I wish them safe to hand & to liking fear shall not
be able to comply with your order for the Whale Oil their being none now
at market & like to rise beyond your Limitations shall be glad in case
of a rise of your further orders & whether the Oil will answer in larger Casks
then [Btts?] it is seldom we meet with it of late in [tts?] youl also give direc-
tions whether it may be Shipt after the 1st Nov.r as we can then get no
Stampt Bills of Lading it may be liable to a Seizure I am

Mr Jer. Powell one of the Referees between you & Mr [Beny.a?] Wait was in Town
about that time he tells me they had not fully determined their award
but expected to finish so as to make a return of it to the Superiour Court
now Setting here says they shall take off part of your demand on Acco.tt of
some insefficiency of the mill but that there will be a Considerable Ball.a
due to you so upon the whole it might have been as well for Wait to have
paid the amount of his order as to have disputed it. by the first Vessel
that Sails after the matter is determind you l be informd what is awarded
to you. Mr Thatcher Died some months agoe Mr Fitch has done & will
Continue to do all he can for your Interest. I am
