8:30 - P.M.

Nite [Night] s'olks: I'm plumb tuckered
out. After lunch with the wives
(who are awfully nice) shopped until
2:30 -- back to hotel -- have had
dinner with C.M. & Mrs. L. --
J.D.'s hard at work. (Exam tomorrow)
& now I'm going to bed fast.
Rain has all [bored?] away.
