Laurie's on Thursday. Sarah
seems to be improving.
She now takes daily walks
with Archie. They intend
coming to see me this week
and then going to visit
Laurie's. I went to Newburgh
on last Thursday. Called
on Dr. Hudson. Found him
well. He inquired after
you. He was pleased
to see me. Mrs. W. lent me
her pretty lace cape, (don't tell.
Nobody knows it). I then called
at the Asylum to see Mary
Taggart. Did not get to see
her as she had gone for
a walk to the orchard and
I could not wait for her
return but I learned she
was quite well. Jessie
Blackburn works there.
