Whereas the Fort Worth Light and Power Company is charging exorbitant rates for light and fuel gas to such an extent that the pressure is beyond the endurance of the Fort Worth public and no relief offered by said company; that the company's meter do not record correctlty, indicating a much larger amount of gas consumed than actually is the case; that the price, $2.00 per thousand feet is higher than prices in nearly all cities in the United States, as records show; the undersigned petitioner, a citizen of Fort Worth, residing at 1214 South Lake street, earnestly requests the HONORABLE BOARD OF CITY COMMISSIONER to provide speedy relief.
