SPECIFICATIONS OF THE GARBAGE CAN TO BE

FURNISHED TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH BY ROBT. L. NICKS.

The top of each can is to be at a distance of 3' 4" ( three feet, four inches ) above the level of the side-walk. 1 1/2" ( one and one-inches)of this height is to be occupied by the angle-irons which form the legs of the can.

The body of the can is to be 3' 1 1/2" ( three feet one an one-half inches ) from the level of the side-walk. The beveled top is to be 2 1/2" ( two and one-half inches l) on the perpendicular, thus completing the distance of 3' 4" ( three feet. four inches ) in height from the MX level of the side-walk.

The opening in the top of the can is to be a square, measureing 1'0" ( one foot ) each way. This opening is to be braced with a wire collar, or rim , of sufficient strength to insure secueity and duribility.

The sides, top and bottom of the can are to be constructed of #22 ( twenty-two ) galvanized

Two opposide sides of the can are to be supplied with malleable iron handles.

The sides and tops of each can XMXXMX are to be out form a single sheet of galcanized iron.

The can are to supported above the side-walk by 3/4" (three quarter inch angle-irons.
