Gentlemen:-
In the matter of petition of J. B. Jones in regard to drainage conditions at Magnolia and Galveston Aves., and Galveston and Oleander St., I have the honor to state:
That the former situation has been taken care of by this department and that the latter is one in which we are in no way responsible as the petitioner built across the flow of a natural water way.

The Mayor and City Counsel, City.
Dear Sirs:- I wish to call your attention to the condition of the streets and the Northern Texas Traction Company's property at Galveston and Magnolia and Galveston Oleander and the general drainage of that neighborhood.
The Northern Texas Traction Company has graded its track so as to throw its water west of the property between Magnolia and Olenader and west of Galveston and Oleander St. has been graded so as to throw the water back on my property, which is situated at the southwest corner of Galveston Oleander. Unless something is done to prevent the unnatural flow of water on my property, I will have to take legal proceedings to either abate the nuisance or recover the damages.
Respectfully, J.B. Jones
