We the undersigned petitioners citizens and tax payers respectfully call your attention to a much needed peice of Sewer work in the midst of a thickly populated territory in the city beginning at a 24" main in Valley Street in center of Royal Avenue, thence south on Royal Avenue to a point about midway between Malcolm and Julian Streets (Block P) thence west through block P to center a Mills steet, thence south in Mill Street, to connect with dead lateral of MRs. WAlker in alley between Julian and Belknap streets being about 1000 feet in length, Thisis an old part of the city, and has patiently suggered long for sewer convenies.

We, your Sewer Committee and City Engineer, to whom was referred the attached petition of W. H. Tanner et al asking that a certain district be sewered, have the honor to recommend that the work requested be done at the same time as the 7th and 8th ward sewers under the direction of the city engineer.
