We, your Committee on Streets and Alleys, to whom was referred
the attached petition of W.S. Essex et al asking that north 2d St.
be graded and graveled repsectfully recommend:

That as soon as petitioners have arranged to pay their share
of the cost of the work, that the street commissioner grade the
street and the City pay for the graveling of intersections only.
