City Council of Fort Worth Texas

Gentlemen:-

You are respectfully requested
to examine the facts of this petition-
the East 3/4 Lot 14 of Block 136 City
is a small piece of land in Vshapy
just south of Old Query Plow
Works lying next to the Rail
road track and is about as much
as one half lot. Said lot has
always been assessed to petitioner
for $100.00 up to 1901, except
for the years 1898 and 1899. For
1898 the lot was assessed for
$1000.00 and 1899 it was ass-
ssed for $1500.00. Taxes have all
been paid on said lot except for
the two years above mentioned,
and the undersigned respectfully
ask that you allow the mistake
to be erected so that taxes
may be paid on said lot for the
years 1898 & 1899 under a just as-
sessment of $100.00 same as all other years.
