To the Honorable City Councel.

We, the undersigned property owners residing on Broiles
Street, extending from Terrell Avenue South, respectfully petition
the honorable body to contract with L. J. Hawkins for the graveling
of said street. After said street has been graded by the city, to
be graveled for a width of thirty feet, gravel to be nine inches in
the center and three inches on the outer edge. We, each of us to
pay for the same at the rate for 20 cts per lineal foot for each
abutting foot of our respective property and the city to pay for
the intersections and 20 cts per foot for each lineal foot,
making a total of 60 cts per lineal foot.
