Gentlemen;- We hereby propose to furnish you with your seasons
supply of coal approximating from 500 to 1000 tons,from October 20-03
to May the 15th.04 at the following prices per ton of 2000# delivered
in bins at the several school and Public buildings,city scale weights to
govern settlements,settlements to be made monthly.

It being understood that we are to furnish and you to receive the
quantities as outlined above or your entire requirements for the period
names,unless prevented by strikes,accidents,shortage of cars,delays in
transit or other causes beyond our control,further that you are to allow
us the privilege of keeping bins well filled whenever possible to do so.

We enclose duplicate of this proposition,and if satisfactory you may
erase the names of coals not desired,and endorse your acceptance on
one copy and this will constitute contract.
