"The father of Fort Worth,"
does hereby express to the people of this city
its unfeigned sorrow and deep
regret and to his bereaved family its pro-
found sympathy in this their hour
of sad bereavement over the irre-
parable loss that has befallen us
all.

Be it further resolved, that these reso-
lution be spread upon the minutes
of the City Council and a copy
thereof be furnished to the family of
the deceased by the city secretary.
