Gentlemen:--

In suit No. 6748, in Justice Mullins Court, by Tom Finnie
against the City of Fort Worth and William Bryce for damages alleged
at $90.00 for breaking parts of plaintiff's carriage upon an ob-
struction on 9th Street between Main and Houston, the defendant
Bryce, who, if there was any merit in plaintiff's claim, was alone
liable, on the 3rd day of September, 1900, comrpomised and settled
the case with plaintiff and suit was on that date dismissed without
cost to the city.
