Take a pound & a halfe of unslackt lime put it to a
galon of spring water let it stand 8 or 10 howers
& ther will be a thinn cream upon it wch yu must
scim ofe & cast away. then take up the cleer
water softly & put into each galon of water
english liquorish Annis seeds sasafras wood each a
qtr of a pound mace a qtr of an ounce blewcur
rance beaten one pound infuse all thes m the
water one night then power ofe the liquor from
the ingredients bottle it up for your use you may
use only halfe the ingredients to the same quan
tity of lime water leting them infuse but one
night longer if it binds adde a spoonful or two
of syrope of violets in each draught take it 3
times a day a qtr of a pint at a time warmd a
little an hower before breakfast dinner & supper
walk gently after it.
Its excellent against all manner of obstructions
kings evel x all ulcers inward or outward it
may be used by injection or wash any clear its
good agamst any stone m the bladder or kidneys.
it clenseth or increaceth bloud drys up super
fluous humors m the body but not the bloud
strengtheneth nature purgeth by urin helpeth
wormes cureth consumptions & dropsy is admi
rable agaimst the cold palsy if it cause bleeding
feare it not for better will come.

or halfe a pint if ther stomach will beak it take
it fasting useing exersised & this g mornings be
sure the Tares be right

A powder of the wormes
worm seed 4 onces senne an ounce coriander
seed prepared halfe a dram ruberb halfe an ounce
dryed rew 2 drams all this made into powder
give from 10 grams to a dram in suger or new
wort or any syrope to a child from 6 to 9 years
as much as will bye on a shilling

squess out the juyce in an almon presse then set it
on the fire to simmer & scum it well then wehn it
is cold bottle it & drink 3 times a day 4 ounces at
a time when they are weary of that doe plantain
the same way & take of that m like manner
they may take more then 4 ounces
