Anexcellent Seirecloth

Take a quart of thye Strongest ale liquor be fore it be boyled of thye
first roning & set it over thye fire & let it boyle very Softly til it be
very thick wasted to foure or five spoonfulls then take put to it three ounce of
Stonpitch one ounce of rosen one ounce of bee wax two peniewoth of
borging pitch stor all these wel to gather & let them boyl a lettle
then take it of from thye fire & put to it two peneworth of
ye corest turpintine & put it in to a gallow pot & when you
use it spreed it upon sheeps leather

an excelent receit for thye piles

Take of bores greas & a handfull of ale hoofe or
Gil go by ground or ground Iuy & a spoonfull of thye
whit of hens doung & a lettle wax boyl all these
to gather & so keep it for your use

The black Salve

Take Silet oyle two ounces of Stonepitch half an ounces
of rosen an ounces of wax & a thimble full of red
lede & for a very Sore g lege put at it a lettle verdegreece
boyl all these to gather som half an houre or not so much
& so make it in to roules

a good mouth water

Take of houndtongue water betony Jointleaves plantaine elder
of every one a handfull & boyl them in spring water thayt springs upon
thye morning Son & put in to it a lettle bay honny & alam & let then
boyl to gather

an excenant receit for thye Canker

Take white wine venger & boyl it to a surup & put to it
som alam & a lettle boylarmastick & let it boyl un til it
be very thick then make it in to a role & let it dry & if thye
teeth have thye Scuruy in them put a lettle of thye ivce of Scuruy grasse
in to it

An excelant water to wash Sores with

Take one pound of unsleite lime half a galon of spring water & let it
stand foure or five dayes houres then let it cleere from thye lime then
Set it from over thye fire & let it boyl half away & So keepe it for your use

sage half a handfull of rose mary adding to it a lettle Salt & alom
alam & when it rest is boyled put to it a lettle boylarmarick
