Section 6. The duties of the Executive Council shall consist of assisting the President in emergency matters.
Section 7. Five members shall constitute a quorum of said Council.
Section 8. (1948) There shall be an Advisory Committee consisting of the past presidents of the Club who are eligible for membership.

ARTICLE V---Members
Section 1. (Amended 1951) The names of candidates for membership shall be young women between the ags of eighteen and thirty-five years of age who shall have resided in Leon County for a period of six months, and shall be presented, by name, in writing, by one sponsoring club member in good standing to the Chairman of the Membership Committee, together with the endorsement of two other members in good standing on or before November the First. The following information must be included: name; address; phone number; birth date; and, if applicant is eligible, she must be a registered voter.
Section 2. (Amended 1951) The Membership Committee is to be composed of seven members, consisting of the First Vice-President, Corresponding Secretary, Treasurer, and four members of the Club. These seven members are required to compose a quorum. The Membership committee shall pass on the eligility of the names submitted and shall then present the names for membership to the Board of Directors who shall proceed to elect the new members from the list of names thus presented. Voting by secret ballot at the Board Meeting following their presentment, a unanimous vote being necessary for a choice.
Section 3. Honorary members may be constituted by a majority vote of the organization.
Section 4. (a) (Amended 1951) The membership of the organization shall be unlimited. (b) Any member, having been in the Club for one year and being a member in good standing, may each year sponsor one and endorse two applications for membership.
Section 5. (1947) Courtesy members shall be selected by the action of the Board of Directors. Wives of the ministers of the Tallahassee Churches may be eligible for consideration as courtesy members. Such members shall have all the privileges of active members except they shall not vote or hold office.
