May being empowered to bid for us at the
Sales of the British Property in Kentuckey
County, and it being very dangerous
and expensive to send Money there to pay
to the Escheator, we therefore oblige ourselves
to pay the amount of whatever the above
named Persons shall engage for to the
Escheator of the sd. County, into your Office
immediately upon notice to us given for
that Purpose witness our Hands this 17th Day
of Augt. 1779 - The sum not to Exceed twelve
