KPRC TV Houston Log Books

The KPRC Log Books (or Red Books) record the news and sports stories shown on KPRC Houston from 1960 - 2010. The Texas Archive of the Moving Image digitized the books for easier access. However, TAMI has not found a suitable transcription tool that can fully decipher the handwriting and notes within the book, making them unsearchable at this time. With this project, TAMI seeks your assistance in transcribing these invaluable story logs. The resulting data will help make the KPRC collection more accessible to TAMI staff as well as to researchers, educators, documentarians, and others interested in the content.
