APRIL 4th Month 1945

1 Easter Sun Very windy day.
Went to S. School in morning
and taught primary. Stayed at
home in pm and wrote to George & Ella.
Judy & Gordon came to tea. Went to
Chapel in evening. Listened to the
last part of the Man born to be King
very good.

2 Mon-Bank Holiday Nice day but very
windy. I helped Mummy to Spring
clean the dining room all day. Gordon
was here for the day helping Daddy on
the land. Bill popped in at dinner time.
We [] over the paper in evening
Went to bed at 9 pm and read in bed
Still very windy.

3 Tues Janet, George Phang and I
spring cleaned Mummie's bedroom
together. Gordon came for dinner & supper.
Betty came in evening, also Bill.
We had a game consequinces. When Mum
& Daddy had gone to bed Janet Bill &
I had a game of pounce
Bill's day off. Quite a nice day.

4 Wed Cleaned the lounge in morning
and then spent the rest of the day
spring cleaning my bedroom. Varnished
the floor. Bill Geo Ph. & Gordon came in
several times during the day
