MAY 1943

16 SUNDAY
Went to Sunday School in morning
wore new dress & coat. Played for
Primary. Went to Sunday S in afternoon.
Did homework in evening.

17 MONDAY
Had rounders instead of gym.
Miss Bourough away so did homework
instead of science. Lovely day,
played tennis.

18 TUESDAY
We are doing Old Testement in
Scripture. Did a therorem in
Geometry lovely day.

19 WEDNESDAY
Made cheese straws in cookery 3d.
Miss Bourough still away but she
sent some nasty work for us to
do. Lovely day.

20 THURSDAY*
Had rounders instead of gym.
Miss Westley away and Miss Latimer
sat with us, very hot and close.
Had a lot of homework.

21 FRIDAY
Had a hectic day school as
usual. Lovely weather.

22 SATURDAY
Mary & Margaret Bloy came over
for the Day. Mr and Mrs Bloy came
to tea. Mary stayed
the night
but were unlucky
