27 COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE June 12 1886 Be it remembered that on this the 12th day of June 1886 the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in its Council Chamber pursuant to adjournment The following officers are present His Honor the MayorH L Yesler, and Councilmen R H Calligan, G W Hall, T W Lake and G W Young There being no quroum present present it is ordered that the council adjourn until Monday June 18th at 8 o'clock pm H L Yesler mayor attest W R Forrest clerk Jun 14 1886 Be it remembered that on this the 14th day of June 1886 the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in its Council Chamber pursuant to adjournment The following officers are present His Honor the MayorYesler, and Councilmen R H Calligan, J Furth, G W Hall, W A Harrington, T W Lake, Chas McDonald and G W Young The minutes of the previous meetings were read and approved Petitions etc Petition of Geo Carter et al & S & S Parkhurst et al representing I O G T Lodge No 6 and the W T C U of this city praying for permission to erect a public drinking fountain of the value of $200.00 at the outer edge of the sidewalk in front of the Safe Deposit Building on Front Street read and referred to Street Committee Petition of W H Pumphrey et al for five (5) additional fire plugs on Union and Eighth Streets read and referred to Committee on Fire & Water Communicationfrom J Campbell making certain charges against Street Commissioner Cummings and read and referred to Judiciary Committee Report of the Custodian of the Powder House for month
