Your letter of the 21^st inst. Enclosing Check for Two hundred forty four & 50/100 dollars ($244 50/100) in payment for Lot & Dead N^o 4019, with certificate from Supt. C. W. Folsom, was duly received, and here with I enclose a receipt for the Amount (say Lot 242.50 - Deed $2.00)

The Sec'y Sam^lBatchelder Jr. Esq. will notify you when the dead is ready for delivery.

Dear Sir,

On examination of the Reports of the Superintendent since February 1869, I find the following Lots & additions to Lots represented as paid for, no deeds of which appear to have been made. Will you please advise me whether there is anything in the condition of these Lots which, by the rules of the corporation, or by custom, would preclude the making and delivery of the deeds to the purchasers forthwith?

Mr. Sawyer has just left here for you two large scale Plans. I enclose tracing of vicinity of Alice's Fountain by [?] H.
