Capt D.L. Winsor

Dear Sir,

Mrs Snow is in while I write. I have just been to see Mr Ware who is very willing to do his share towards the drain on Locust Ave. He says he told Mr Austin he was willing to give $25.00. He now says if it is necessary, he is willing to give even thirty or forty dollars. If Mrs Snow, whom we have put down at $50. could have her assessment thereby reduced to $40, I doubt not Mr Ware would pay forty dollars.

We have made the matter as definite as it can be or need be, for all practical purposes -- and I think you need not wait longer to hear from the parties.

If we put Mrs Snow at 40.00
Mr Ware [at] 40.00
Mr Hurd [at] 25.00
Mr Davis [at] 10.00
We have [total] $115.00
something from one other party -- but that I do not reckon on.

I would like the report on the Ezra Lincoln lot, if you please.

Yours Resp.y

A.J. Coolidge
