The following lots are all that have been taken for perpetual repair since June 1868. --

Dear Sir,

I have just rec^d from Mr Chas. R. Messenger of Toledo Ohio, prop^r of lot 3469, the enclosed orders, with his draft to cover the amount -- $65.00 -- paid in advance, & he desires you to proceed to execute the orders forthwith. $50. for new grading & sodding -- $6. for care of lot & plants, & $9. to be "expended in a few suitable flowers, the selection of which I will leave to your Superintendent's taste."

He intends at some day to enclose the lot with curb, but thinks the expenditures here ordered will greatly improve his lot. --

Mr Joel Richards has just called in, & desires me to say

Reconveyance and new deeds of Lots 1349 & 1350 authorized _ aforesaid, and of giving the said Mrs Renton the control of the part of said lot where her husband lies buried, asks that he may reconvey said lots to the Corporation, and that a new deed of 174 feet may issue to the said Mrs Renton as lot numbered 1349, and that once of 851 feet may issue to said heirs as the heirs of Abby M. Loring, numbered 1350. .

On motion by Mr Norcross,

Voted that leave be granted to Judge Lowell, guardian of said Loring heirs to reconvey lots numbered 1349 and 1350, agreeably to the prayer of his petition, and new deed be issued accordingly -

Reconveyance and new deeds of Lots 799 & 800 authorized _

The application of Mr Chas. U. Cotting in behalf of the proprietors of lots numbered 799, 800 and 801, on Pine Avenue, for leave to reconvey said lot numbered 800 to the Corporation, and that new deeds may issue _ of two thirds thereof at lot no. 800 to W^m F. Whitney, who has ^^also become the proprietor of lot no. 799 adjoining, one of one third of said lot to the heirs of Susan L. Willard (late Delano) as an addition to lot no. 801. _ was presented _ and

On motion by Mr Rand, Voted that such leave be granted, and that new deeds be issued agreeably to the prayer of the petitioner.

Notice of application to Legislature for Extension of Charter _

The Secretary read the notice, signed by the President, of an application to the next General court of this Commonwealth for such alteration of the Charter of this Corporation as will extend over it the provisions, of Chapter 28 of the General Statutes in relation to the amount of real and personal estate that may be held by this Corporation.

President & Secretary a Com^ee to secure same _

Voted that such application be hereby approved, and that the President and Secretary be appointed a Com^ee to secure the passage of the proper act therefor.

Sup^t authorized to construct storehouse for plants _ not to Exceed $400 _

Voted that the Superintendent be authorized to construct a storehouse for plants in the Garden adjacent to the Greenhouse, as proposed by him in his letter of their date, at an expense not exceeding four hundred dollars. _

Contract for Perpet^l Repair Lots 799 & 800 _

The Secretary stated that the Committee on Lots had contracted with the Trustees under the will of the late William F. Whitney, prop^r of lots numbered (799 and 800) seven hundred ninety nine and Eight hundred for the perpetual care of said lots on payment of four hundred and fifty dollars.

Voted that said contract be confirmed.
