Trustees - Special Meeting .

A Special meeting of the Trustees of Mount Auburn was held on called by the President upon the written request of five trustees.

There were present, the President, Messrs Cheever, Crocker, Curtis, Nazro, Rand and Read.

The record of the adjourned meeting was read.

The President stated that the meeting had been called at the request of several of the Trustees, because ^under the vote passed at the last meeting a doubt had arisen whether the Superintendent was authorized to attend to any business at the Cemetery except by the direction of the Committee on Lots, in each specific case, and that said Committee were unwilling to assume any such duty of detail.
