Capt. D.L. Winsor

Sir: -

Mr Phineas B. Hovey, of Cambrigeport, a friend of mine, was quite desirous to get a lot on the southerly side of the Cemetery, and I pointed out to him lot 525 on Rose Path, & sent him to you, to see how you would sell it as to quantity shape & grade. I am informed today that he has agreed decided to take it. I remember a year or two since when it was proposed to sell the lot to another gentleman, you thought, it should be run down on the easterly side between Oleander P. and lot 534 so as to take in some 20 or 30 ft more than 300. I send you a sketch from the large plan with measurements. The lot is not 15 ft wide on the front. You can tell best by the land how much of the vacant space the bank will require. I think he should take what there is there, not naturally required for the bank, whether [300?] more, or less. There seems to be a good deal to spare between lot 187 and Oleander P. - not less than 13 ft - a great waste.

Please inform me of the address of Mrs Hannah Heath, to whom you reported, on , as sold a lot^(no 3780) of 400 ft on Fountain Ave amounting to $700. She has not paid for it.

Please also state whether your report of lot 3808 to John Vose Jr. on Kalmia P., 400 ft, is to be superceded by lot 3817 on Galanthus P. 360 f. reported^Nov 2d as sold him, Novr 2d He today
