of certain lands therein described as public grounds of the Cemetery, and the appropriation of a certain sum for enclosing the space in front of the chapel.

After discussion, upon motion of Mr Tobey, it was

Voted – that the report be recommitted with instructions to make such modifications therein as the Comee shall deem expedient after listening to the views expressed at this meeting, and submit the same if they see fit at the next meeting of the board.

Area in front of Chapel.

Upon motion by Mr Crocker,

+ Voted _ that the space in front of the chapel, bounded by Chapel , Pine and Cypress Avenues & Peony Path, and enclosing two trees planted there last month by the Prince of Wales, be enclosed or surrounded by an edge-stone of hammered granite, and that the Committee on Grounds be authorized to cause this to be done at an expense not exceeding seven hundred and fifty ($750.~) dollars.
