A good day. The men stripped tobacco all day.

Mrs Mamie Hutcherson come to see Josie this evening.

I went with Robert & Christenia Reynolds to Long Island to meet Henry Brumfield. He is on a visit from Norfolk.

I stopped at Mr Thomsons store and bought a few things. Robert brought me home. I saw Henry Blair at Strait Stone. He is lookin well.

Jim & Ben have gone to Strait Stone to night. It is lodge night.

Cloudy but no rain today. They are still on tobacco. To night Jim is at the barn by him self. Ben & Marvin and Lucius Gravely has gone a hunting.

Mrs Hutcherson come to see Josie. I was glad that she come.

Henry Brumfield come to see us today. He eat dinner with us. I was glad that he come. He said that he would start home in the morning.

A cloudy day. Ben & Jim cut wood all day. Josie made Mabel a dress. Josie got supper. She baked light rolls. They were fine. Henry & Edna went to school. I went to Marvins and worked button holes in Hazels and Evas dresses. I set a hen this evening. I wrote two letters this morning.

A good day. Jim staid at home and worked. Ben went to Gretna for some eggs. Turkey eggs for Josie and hens eggs for Jim. Henry & Franklin and I went with him.

We come home. Josie had dinner a bout done. We eat and Ben carried Henry & Edna & Franklin and I to White Falls to fish. I did not catch any thing. Henry caught one fish.

Josie made Edna a dress this evening. Mrs Wooding went to see Carrie this evening. I know I had better stay at home and help do the work but am so trifling that I dont do what I should do.

A good day. Sprinkled rain a few times. Not enough to do any good. Jim & Ben and Henry worked in the tobacco all day.

Josie washed a big washing. I helped some. We had corn & caned beef for dinner. This evening Isla & Cordie come to see Mrs Car. I was glad to see them if they did not come to see me. Trinkle was elected yester day. We are all sorry.

I have not seen any of Marvins folks today. Reese would of carried me to White Falls but I was a fraid there would be a cloud. I am sorry that I did not go.
