State of Washington County of King George E Wall & W V Rinehart being first duly sworn for himself says: That he is one of the sureties on the foregoing bond and a householder and resident of the City of Seattle, in said King County, and is worth the sum of One thousand($1000)Dollars over and above all the debts and liabilities exclusive of property exempt from execution, and that he is not directly or indirectly interested in the business to be conducted under said license referred to in the foregoing obligation issued to the above named bounden; that he is not an attorney or counsellor-at-law, sheriff, clerk or other officer of any court in the said State of Washington. Know All Men by These Presents, That we, David L Fletcher, as principal, and George E Hall and W V Rinehart, & as suritiees, are held and firmly bound unto the City of Seattle a municipal corporation, duly organized and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the Territory (now State) of Washington, in the penal sum of One Thousand ($1000) Dollars, lawful money of the United States of America, for the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our and each of our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents. SEALED with our seals, and dated this 31st day of July, 1890 WHEREAS, The above named bounden David L Fletcher, has been licensed by the City of Seattle to keep an Intelligence office in said City for 3 months from the 31st day of July, 1890

Now, therefore, the condition of the foregoing obligation is such that if the said bounden David L Fletcher shall well and truly pay all judgements recovered against him for any violation of Ordinance No. 1356 of the City of Seattle, together with such judgement and costs as may be recovered against him by any person or persons on account of any willful misrepresentations or for willfully deceiving any person transacting any business with the said bounden, and pay all damages by reason of demanding or receiving any unusual or exorbitant fee, or guilty of any deception whatever to any person who may employ the said bounden or who may employ or engage any person to perform work or render services for any other person and shall faithfully and fully comply with all the terms, provisions and requirements of the said Ordinance No. 1356, then the above obligation to be null and void, otherwise to remain in full force and effect Signed, sealed, and Delivered in the Presence of R L Thorne Geo B Chapin D LFletcher (seal) George E Hall (seal) W V Rinehart (seal)
